SunTech Medical is closely monitoring the situation in relation to coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), a respiratory illness first identified in Wuhan, China.
Our priority is to ensure the well-being of our employees. We have taken precautionary measures to help ensure their safety. We will continue to review the situation as it evolves.
At this stage, the direct business impact on SunTech is estimated to be low. We have no specific supply issues related to the virus at this time, although we have been advised of some longer lead times for certain products. Our Supply Chain teams are working hard to track current supply and demand. We are working with our suppliers to be aware of any potential challenges with plenty of warning.
However, the situation is constantly evolving, and we will provide further updates as needed if the risk to direct impact to our customers is likely to increase.
We do typically experience heavy demand in March as we close out our financial year and would ask that orders for delivery in March or April are placed as early as possible. Any potentially large orders should be flagged to your SunTech contact.
